How to Connect an iPad to an External Monitor (USB-C)

To connect a USB-C iPad to an external monitor, use a USB-C to HDMI adapter into the monitor's HDMI input. iPads mirror by default; on iPadOS with Stage Manager, supported iPad Pro and Air models can use the monitor as a true extended display.
Connection Methods
USB-C to HDMI 🔌 Wired
Get a USB-C to HDMI adapter (4K capable).
Connect USB-C to the iPad and HDMI to the monitor.
Select the monitor's HDMI input.
Enable Stage Manager (supported iPads) for an extended workspace.
